Dr. Nasser Al-Jizawi, President of Benha University, announced that the university has been ranked in four disciplines in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026, up from one discipline in 2025.

Al-Jizawi explained that the university reached a significant milestone by appearing for the first time among the top 475 universities worldwide in Agriculture and Forestry, placing within the 351–400 range globally and ranking fifth locally among 13 universities.

The university also ranked among the top 603 universities worldwide in Mathematics, placing within the 501–600 range globally and fifth locally among seven Egyptian public and private universities.

In Computer Science and Information Systems, the university was listed among the top 850 universities worldwide, ranking within the 751–850 range globally and seventh locally among 13 universities.

In the field of Medicine, the university maintained its position among the top 847 universities globally this year, ranking within the 701–850 range, and tenth locally among 12 Egyptian public and private universities.

Dr. Jihan Abdelhadi, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, noted that the QS ranking is based on five main criteria: academic reputation, employer reputation, research citations, H-index, and international research collaboration.

The university president congratulated the academic and administrative leaders, faculty members, and young researchers at the university, especially those in the Faculty of Medicine, on this achievement.

Benha University | University Centre for Career Development (UCCD)

The University Centre for Career Development (UCCD) at Benha University announces the opening of registration for a series of free professional training courses in collaboration with Cisco, with the aim of equipping students and graduates from all disciplines with the skills required to meet the evolving demands of the labor market.

This initiative is launched within the framework of the Egyptian state’s strategic efforts to enhance capacity building and prepare youth for future careers, particularly in advanced technological fields. The program is offered as a grant by the Education Development Fund, affiliated with the Prime Minister’s Office, in cooperation with the University Centre for Career Development.

The program is implemented under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University and Chairman of the Board of Directors of UCCD; Prof. Dr. Gihan Abdel-Hadi, Acting Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; and Prof. Dr. Rasha Sharaf, Secretary-General of the Education Development Fund. The program is supervised and coordinated by Dr. Sahar Abdel-Rahman, Director of the University Centre for Career Development.
